Naturium

Niacinamide Serum 12%

SerumBudgetMorning or evening
Higher-dose niacinamide than the classic 10% formulations, with zinc PCA, centella and ginger. At 12% there's modestly better pore and sebum performance, though some very sensitive skin can flush — patch test first.

What's actually doing the work

Niacinamide
Vitamin B3 / Nicotinamide
Vitamin
The most versatile and universally tolerated skincare active. Inhibits melanin transfer (fading dark spots), reduces sebum by up to 68%, strengthens the skin barrier via ceramide synthesis, calms inflammatory pathways to reduce redness, and visibly minimises pores over 4–8 weeks. Works at any pH and pairs with virtually every other active.
Centella Asiatica
Cica / Gotu Kola / Tiger Grass
Botanical
One of the most clinically validated plant-based actives. Rich in triterpenoid saponins (asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid) with wound-healing, collagen-stimulating, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Asiaticoside stimulates collagen I and III; madecassoside shown efficacious for atopic dermatitis in RCTs.
