Stack Audit · Free

Score your whole routine
out of 100.

Paste every product on your shelf. In under a minute, get an honest audit: conflicts, redundancies, coverage gaps, and exactly what to cut or add. Like having a formulator go through your bathroom cabinet.

Four dimensions, one score.

Compatibility

Are any of your actives fighting each other? Retinol + glycolic, vitamin C + copper peptides, that kind of thing. A score of 100 means no flagged conflicts.

Efficiency

Are any products doing overlapping jobs? Two vitamin Cs, two exfoliants, four brightening actives. Efficient routines have one product per job.

🛡
Barrier Load

How many potentially irritating ingredients stack on your skin in a single day? Too many and even a "good" routine compromises the barrier.

Coverage

Does your routine cover the essentials (cleanser, moisturiser, SPF) plus your specific concerns? Missing SPF is always a critical gap.

What the audit tells you.

🎯
A single score out of 100
85+ excellent, 70–84 solid, 50–69 workable but tune-able, below 50 has real issues. Every score comes with a one-line plain-English explanation.
🚨
Coverage gaps, ranked
"You have three aging products but no daily SPF — UV exposure undoes the work of every other active." Critical gaps flagged separately from minor ones.
🔁
Redundancies, explained
When two products chase the same concern with the same mechanism, you're paying twice. Different mechanisms (vitamin C + niacinamide) don't count.
✂️
What to cut, what to add
Up to two specific products to reconsider, up to three product categories to add (with concentration ranges — "retinol 0.3–0.5%," not just "retinol").
A working AM/PM schedule
Every product assigned to morning, evening or both, ordered correctly (thinnest to thickest, actives before moisturiser, SPF last in AM).
🤰
Life stage mode (optional)
If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or in peri/menopause, the audit adds a dedicated section flagging actives to avoid or prioritise, with gentle alternatives.

Three steps, under two minutes.

Add your products

Type each product name, scan the label with your camera, or paste the ingredient list. Two minimum, eight maximum.

We decode each one

Ingredients come from a verified database where available, AI-estimated otherwise (labelled clearly). Fairy-dusted actives get flagged automatically.

Hit "Analyse Stack"

Your full audit appears in about 15 seconds — score, breakdown, gaps, conflicts, cut/add suggestions, and schedule.

Questions.

What does a Stack Audit score mean?
A Stack Audit score is a single 0–100 number representing how well your full skincare routine works as a whole. It rolls up four factors: Compatibility (are any ingredients clashing?), Efficiency (are products doing overlapping jobs?), Barrier Load (is the stack gentle enough to use without irritation?), and Coverage (does it address the essentials plus your specific skin goals?). 85+ is excellent, 70–84 is solid, 50–69 is workable but needs tuning, and below 50 signals real problems worth fixing.
How many products do I need to run an audit?
At least 2 — though the audit gets more insightful with 4–8 products covering your full morning and evening routine. If you have more than 10, the audit will often flag that as part of its redundancy or barrier-load analysis.
Is the audit based on ingredients or product names?
Both. Skin Stacker decodes each product's ingredient list first — using a verified database where available, AI-estimated otherwise — then runs the audit on the decoded actives. You can also paste raw ingredient lists directly if you have them from the product label.
Is this a substitute for a dermatologist?
No. The Stack Audit is educational — it catches common ingredient conflicts and coverage gaps, but it can't examine your skin, diagnose conditions, or replace personalised clinical advice. For persistent concerns or anything that worries you, see a qualified dermatologist.
Do I need an account?
No. Skin Stacker has no login. Your skin profile and saved routines live only in your browser's local storage, never on a server. Close the tab and nothing leaves the device.

Most skincare routines work. Some fight themselves. A few are just expensive. In under two minutes, find out which one you've built.
