What It Is

Extracted from the African shea tree nut. Rich in oleic and stearic acid, with unsaponifiable fractions including lupeol (anti-inflammatory triterpene), allantoin (soothing), and cinnamic acid (mild UV absorber). These give shea butter genuine anti-inflammatory properties beyond occlusion. Comedogenicity rating 0 — ideal for dry and eczema-prone skin.

How to Use

In rich creams and body butters. Pure shea excellent for very dry skin, lips and eczema patches.
