Technically a liquid wax rather than a triglyceride oil — composed primarily of long-chain wax esters structurally similar to human sebum. Exceptionally stable (no rancidity), deeply penetrating and highly biocompatible. Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and a mild sebum regulator. Acts as a feedback signal reducing sebum overproduction.
Facial oil, few drops AM or PM. Also a carrier oil for diluting essential oils. Comedogenicity 2 — patch test if acne-prone.
