What It Is

One of the most clinically studied peptide complexes. Works via two matrikine peptides: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 stimulates new collagen I, III and HA synthesis; Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 reduces inflammatory cytokines that break down the dermal matrix. Together they reduce wrinkle depth and improve firmness in 4–12 weeks. Much of the clinical data comes from Sederma, which makes Matrixyl.

How to Use

Topical serum or cream AM and/or PM after cleansing. Pairs with most actives. Look for both peptides in the top half of the ingredient list.
