Silicone-based 10% azelaic acid — anti-inflammatory, gently exfoliating, melanin-inhibiting, and one of the few actives considered pregnancy-safe. Excellent for rosacea-prone skin, post-inflammatory pigmentation and mild acne. The silicone base gives it a distinctive tacky texture; layer thinly.

A dicarboxylic acid from grains with a uniquely versatile clinical profile: antibacterial (kills C. acnes), tyrosinase-inhibiting (fades PIH and melasma), anti-inflammatory for rosacea, and normalises keratinisation inside pores. One of the only effective actives completely safe in pregnancy. At 20% (prescription) it is FDA-approved for rosacea.
